Fear and shopping in NJ
We went grocery shopping today, and man, did it wear me out. I'm still not quite over this sinus infection, though now that I've got antibiotics, I'm getting better. I hope it'll be all gone by the time we go to concerts next week - nothing like a sinus headache to impede the enjoyment of good music.
Other things that have been going on.. hm, doing a lot of things with Facebook , which I am starting to like a little mostly thanks to being able to play Scrabble on it. Last night I kicked Ryen's butt , muaha. I also won the game I played with Niki.
My brother Joe came over today and painted our bathroom a pleasant sand color. It's almost done, finally, yay! He brought his dog with him... and his dog chewed right through a wooden shoe stretcher in the back room where she was confined. She seems to enjoy eating things.
Busy week coming up - we'll be at the Rilo Kiley concert at the Troc on Tuesday, then Ozma (et. all) at the Electric Factory on Friday. Then Ozma again on Monday, for that matter, in NJ. Plus Aus's school, and all the usual suspects of things to do. I'm already getting nervous about the driving in the city - I wish we could have found someone to drive us. With the GPS, at least we won't have to worry about getting lost. But I worry about the parking, and about driving through bad neighborhoods, and the traffic... and the bridge.. and so on. I have a lot of driving anxiety - that's one of the big triggers for my PTSD. Still, I really want to go, so I'm not just going to let that fear get in the way. I have to do what I have to do (and hopefully, I will survive it intact!).
