Dialup warning - you will die before all these load. Seriously.

This is a sign in Philly city hall when we went to get our marriage licence to get the drivers licence I needed to fly. Notice there is no phone.

Archetecture in Philly (this photo needs to be touched up to be more visible, I know)

(also to touch up- yes, I'm making these notes for myself, not for you. I'm on the computer that doesn't have the graphics software, so tomorrow I need to do that.)

Art graffiti tile embedded in a philly street

lights over the bar at TT the Bears

Outside TT the Bears, where we met Meredith (Merf on RK Net /GRinB) and her friend whose name I forget, sorry!

Rick, in front of the whiteboard sign that says who is playing tonight. Dry erase technology!

Me, Rick, whiteboard

The Elected-mobile has really weird dust-writing all over it.

Drumset up on the stage

I'm sitting on one of the speakers right next to the stage. That was my spot for the show. That thing behind me is the keyboard.

Morgan from Whispertown2000. The lights were really low for this one, sorry

and this one. ={ I wish we got better pictures.

It was Richard from Margot and the Nuclear So and So's birthday. He had wine.

Everyone sang happy birthday to him, and he got kinda embarrassed.

Now that the lights are on, we can see Whispertown2000!

Note Blake with the tambourine.

Blake and Richard sing along with Whispertown2000

Morgan smiling

Margot and the Nuclear So and So's . This was the first time we'd heard them, and we really liked them!

More Margot

I think this amp belongs to Blake.

The Elected setting up, with spotlight.

Vanessa and the Owl!

The gals of Whispertown with the guys of the Elected

Aww, it's love.

Horray for drums!

Owl, Vanessa, Blake. I <3 this picture.

Yep, that's Nate back there!

I like Blake's floppy hat

I think this was when Nate was singing. He has a sweet voice!

He's looking at youuuu. Yes, you.

The caveman had a toothpick in his mouth for like.. the entire show. Don't know if you can see it here.

Guitar action

The lighting was really weird at this place. It was mostly the spotlights and floor lights the bands brought with them. And they kept moving them around.
So here we can't see Blake playing the keyboard rightright there all that well, but Nate in the back is pretty illuminated.

After Blake moved the light- much better.

Love the expression. I think this was when the mic over there wasn't loud enough and he was trying to get the sound guy to fix it.

Light!

The horn player (whose name I forgot, sorry!) from Margot came and played with The Elected on some songs

back at the other mic

Caveman playing the instrument that was over there that I didn't get a clear look at what it was.

Blake talks about what an angel Nate is... (and how if he was a girl...)

Then he shines the spotlight on him.

And that's where Nate sings! Not earlier. He sang 07 Sept, and he did really well!

Go Nate!

Floor lights

Looking up

I think Cave lost the toothpick, because he's playing harmonica now. Go Mike!

That's Morgan in the red puma hoodie with the tambourine, and Chris the crazy percussionist from Margot with the other

The audience was clapping along at this point- it was a very high-energy show.

Morgan and (Todd's brother...whose name I also forgot!)

Chris makes the hands up in the air. He was really fun!

Whee!

Morgan by the side of the stage

Morgan had a silver whistle on a chain around her neck and she blew it during various songs through the night.

Towards the end

Morgan on tambourine again

Rock on.

Blake's a lil' scary here.

Not here, though.

Morgan blowing the whistle durring Biggest Star

Blake rocked so hard, he lost his hat

I'm like fifty times bigger than Morgan!

Me, Aus, Mike and Blake . Nate was in there somewhere too- but the photographer wasn't that good.

So Aus stepped out to take the picture and get Nate in there.

Rick and Gynn's beautiful cat Mel

Isn't she pretty?

Kitty kitty

Me, Rick, Gynn and Lauren at the cafe where we all got some writing done.
