Well, I did it. Yesterday I drove all the way up to Philly to the TLA to see how hard it would be- it wasn't really all that difficult, surprisingly. It was a little harder getting home than it was to get there, but now I know where things are for the concert Tuesday. I'm a little scared still about driving home in the dark. At least I don't have to worry too much about parking because we're going to the lovely
espions house to meet up with her and JB before the show. While we were up there yesterday, we walked around South Street which was really fun, and ate at Johnny Rocket's.
Looks like we may be flying out to visit Rick and Gynn (I'm too lazy to try and spell their usernames right now, sorry guys) in November. It'll be easier than driving or taking the train, and looks like we can get a sweet price on the fare.
Today Uncle Leon and Aunt Marie came over and we went out to lunch.
Hi to everyone who's joined my friends list because of NaNo and such! Leave me a comment if you haven't already and tell me something about who you are. =)
For some reason, I'm playing Neopets again. Man, it's like a disease. You kick it for a while, then it comes back.
Still haven't made much progress editing the Michael-stories, or starting in with the character and plot development for Tequila Sunset. Instead, I find myself thinking a lot about my old vampire novel that I haven't touched for about four years. I might return to that after Tequila, maybe do a complete rewrite. Which would put the screenplay on even more hold than it already is. So much to write, so little time.
My roman coin is really looking good thanks to the olive oil. Peering into the glass, I can see a lot more of the detail on the coin. Hopefully that clarity continues when I take it out and get the oil off. I'm going to work on it this weekend.
