Movies and books and music
Yesterday, took the kids to see Pink Panther- was a lot of fun. Pretty funny, if predictable slapstick humor.. different from the old films, but hey.
Saw Brokeback Mountain at home and was pretty disappointed. Not my kind of movie at all. Tragic love, yeah, I get that.. but I had hard time being sympathetic towards the characters. They basically screwed up their lives and the lives of their families and friends by being unwilling and/or unable to just find a way to overcome and get together. I don't know... I really wanted to like it, but I didn't.
Right now I'm reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. I really like this book! The whole antimatter / illuminati thing is very believable, and at the same time fantastic and exciting. The writing is also very tight and suspenseful. I think I will read the Da Vinci code after this.
Two weeks till the Elected concert - man, am I excited about that. I haven't seen an Elected concert in about two years. They're soooo good live. Plus having an awesome night hanging out with friends - good times.
