I dreamed another part of Michael's story last night. One of the missing pieces. It gives me a little clue what happened during the years before he went to college, though it's not from that time period - but it does explain a bit about what he did during one of his summers, and how he and Jenny started to get together. So... it's a good thing. I gotta find time to write it today (this is kinda my reminder to do so).
