My grandmother
The first time she was hit in the crosswalk was a scary incident, but I am glad that it happened. It was about ten years ago. The girl who hit her did not realize that nanny was crossing. When the car in front of her stopped, the girl angrily pulled out around it only to hit my grandmother. She was thrown several feet and she whacked her skull on the pavement, also twisting her knee. She was rushed to the hospital and they did a CAT scan on her to check for internal hemorrhaging and swelling and whatnot. They found a tumor. They operated and removed it. So in that way, I am glad that it happened.
My grandmother was hit by another car in the very same crosswalk the other day. She is not hurt too badly - the side view mirror clipped her on the cheek. What the hell? I am going to make a vest for my nan which is neon orange with flashing lights.
