It's been a while since I watched Jdrama - Ouran
So I finally watched the first episodes of Ouran High School Host club, drama version of course. I knew the cast was pretty fail from the start, I didn't expect much from it :P I knew I would be cringing my way through the 30 minute drama. and well, the drama didn't deviate from my expectation too much, thank god it is only approx. 25 minutes long!
so first up? Characters and casting!
Tamaki Suou
I love him. Yes I do. No! I mean I like Yamamoto Yusuke, but this Tamaki is just F-A-I-L. What happened to the blond hair and blue eyes ?__? and tbh I think he's quite bad at acting, well as least acting as Tamaki Suou.
Hitachin Twins Hikaru and Kaoru
well while I do appreciate real person bromance...my reaction is pretty much "meh" and all i can say is "nah" to this. It doesn't seem to be working, the chemistry was uber awkward, i don't know whether it' the problem with the actor(s) or whatever...
Ootori Kyouya
........................................................................Dear drama/casting/director whoever, thank you for ruining my favourite character in Ouran. And he's suppose to have the ~cool~ appeal.
Honey
soooo....rights. what can i say? the loli-shota from this honey is not working at all...so awkward ;~;
Honey also deserves 2 more caps because THIS IS JUST DOWNRIGHT SCARY TO THE CORE. i totally freaked out when i saw the CG when he shrinks (both caps). I can't handle it!!
and another example of a scary CG *gulp*
Mori sempai didn't get a cap, because I didn't cap him. LOL. but you get the idea...he doesn't work as well.
Well...so first impression was horrible, but I watched the whole episode anyways. Towards, the end, I guess I grew more accustomed to the cast :\ It's not THAT THAT THAT unbearable. It does have it's ok moments :P like this...I like this lol
still think honey looks really awkward though, and I still rather they got a kid to play honey...
but really, it's possible to get accustomed to it and the twins looks good sideways
sometimes the cast looks not-so-bad :P
i guess that concludes my rant :P I realised I've been contradicting myself! I think it's horrible but at the same time it's OK not that bad! I'm definitely sticking with it !!!!(well unless it gets worst which I don't think it's possible) and also because, YAMAMOTO YUSUKE IS SO FREAKING CUTE. I CANNOT CANNOT STOP LOOKING AT THIS PICTURE *POINTS TO BELOW*
