Dream 002 ¦¦ ♥

[Filtered from Vincent (because that's pretty much Break's default now), and also Oz and Gilbert. Sorry guys, but he's not quite yet ready to give up his secrets. Other than that, it's public.]

It was bright, warm and sunny…A beautiful day.

The family was enjoying it, laughter and excited chatter floating up into the clear, calm air. A blanket had been spread over the grass, and the elegant lady that sat on it, hands folded neatly in her lap, was beautiful, though she was ageing. Her two daughters also sat on the blanket; the eldest, a well-behaved teen, sat patiently, but the youngest, a bright-looking child, with shoulder-length blond hair, bounced in excitement.

The last of the family was the father. Worry lined his face, and his hair was streaked with grey, but…Smiling with his family, laughing with them, the lines of stress and worry were smoothed away, and he seemed…younger.

There was one more, not on the blanket, but rather a short ways away, watching the family with an honest smile. Break’s hair was longer, tied back neatly, and both of his eyes were uncovered. But, despite his smile, Break held a sword at his side, and he was clearly keeping a wary eye on everything around them. He looked different, but…

The greatest difference was only clear to those who knew him very well. The greatest difference was not his longer hair, or his two visible eyes. Break was smiling, not smirking. It was a subtle difference…It was that Break was honestly happy.

The cheerful family picnic continued for a few moments, but then the smallest girl looked up and noticed him sitting there, apart from his lord’s family.

She blinked, innocent eyes wide, and then jumped to her feet. The youngest daughter ran over to him, blonde hair bouncing with her movements, and smiled at him.

“Kevin!” she exclaimed, smile bright and cheery. “Come join us! You can’t sit here alone!”

Break, blinking up at her, hesitated. He looked past her, at the family he was protecting, and found his lord watching him.

The regal man smiled at him benevolently and nodded, and Break got to his feet.

And, still blinking in surprise, Break allowed the small child to pull him towards the happy family gathering.

[Break is simply silent. But he isn't looking at the Dreamberry, so it's impossible to see his expression.]
