While we're on the topic of these things... they were in the sewers, correct? And considering those roars everyone's been hearing, I think it's perfectly safe to assume that these... animal things were scared-or chased-out of the sewers by whatever made that noise. If it's enough to scare these freakish things, then I'm sure that once this is over with, we should devote some time to coming up with a contingency plan for when it shows it's face here-which, knowing this hellhole, it will.
