...how inconvenient. That was careless of me.

What did I miss?

((I WAS GONE FOR MOST OF THIS so yeah von Karma passed out from exhaustion yesterday because SLEEP IS NOT PERFECT. ...'course neither is passing out, but what can you do?))

Heh. You mean to say that you missed the entire escapade?

Mr. von Karma. I expected better from you.

Not through any fault of my own.

Clearly. Someone slip something in your drink then?

Ah, but you would argue of the lack of drinks.

After all, you were even outdone by your very daughter.

Stop pre-emptively providing my arguments.

[An arrogant Edgey laugh]

Stop being predictable.

Franziska von Karma... she was at the fight scene gathering evidence while you were off daydreaming. Do you need a clearer explanation?

. . .

[Private to you]

...As I said, the reason I know nothing of this is no fault of my own. Perhaps you are too much of a slacker to know the effects of continuous work, but I am not.

Ah, von Karma. You act as if I've been doing nothing at all. I've gathered quite a bit of information of this region.

I know how to be reasonable about the amount time I work, rather than pushing myself beyond humane limits.

Perhaps you are getting a tad senile, Mr. von Karma?

You used 'humane' instead of 'human.' As even I'm convinced you aren't stupid enough to make such an error or use such odd syntax, you're clearly feeling the effects of it as well.

I suppose you'll pass out in a day or two.

...hmph. perhaps I have been staying up a bit too long. At least I do not sleep through potential clues on how to get out of this wretched place.

No retort?

I rest my case then.

I was only taking a moment to wonder when you started being able to defy human limitations. Perhaps you can keep yourself up to date on things when you're unconscious, but I can't.

In any case, it sounds like nothing more than a dead end. I doubt anyone will get any useful information out of the scientists even with this, and the only other bit of information we've gotten out of this is that there's some new monster lurking in the sewers, which many people already knew.

I'm not the one who claims to be perfect or keeps himself awake for an inane amount of time.

Please. One of the residents here named Roxas found a bracelet that is obviously quite meaningful to one of the scientists. It would be quite simple for him to trade the bracelet in exchange for information. If that does not occur, there are a few other residents that are trying to map the sewers.

Clearly it was quite helpful.
