Spectrum
Inspired by the paintball scene. There’s more paint on Dean and Cas in the picture than there is in the story, but the paint was so much fun to put on ‘em!
Chromatic
Cas with Ivor. The purple squid was great fun - I tried to get a pirate hat on that squid, but there was no way to get it on there and have it recognizably a squid. Cas’ hair and Ivor’s tail are my favorites out of the illustrations for this story.
Chapter Divider
Process Notes: Title card, Spectrum, and the chapter divider were made in PhotoshopCC. Chromatic was inked on vellum, black ink with Koh-i-Noor technical pens (0, 00, 3x0, 4x0), color inks with a Speedball dip pen.
