DIRTY LAUNDRY #3
so here is my update for the week. sorry to make it short. got a lot of things on my mind and louise is sure taking her sweet time with getting back to us girls at dirty laundry. i've been antsy for something to consume my thoughts, emotions, time, space for the past few days. not that i am not feeling challenged enough anywhere.. but i am just used to having a more jam packed schedule. but here are a few things on my plate besides work:
* hip hop dance class, once-ish a week
* going to lots of shows and checking out all the cool kids in van
* shopping like its hot.
* eating like all the food is going bad tomorrow
all this doesn't take up as much time as you think. and i for some reason am craving homework. i'm looking for another thing to focus on that has to do with the placement so i can show up one day and say "check out all this homework i did for you.. now you can ______ whatever you wanted to ______ and be popular and awesome and make loads of cash to fulfill more dreams of yours and everyone elses around you!
but we'll have to see where my imagination takes me with that one. so far, still in production stages, and helping out with getting all the orders cut and sewn and pretty and awesome so people want to order more! things will figure itself out sooner than later. so for now, this is my update. i get to eat good food and meet cool people and try to figure out the politics of this industry in this town from all the people i keep meeting. very interesting.
i also got to go to a kheil's party at the new free-standing kheil's on robson. one and a half glasses of wine and a few h'or d'ouerves (sp?) and $80 later, i'm so happy i found such cool chicks to intern with!
