"God its been a lovely day!"

Jan 04, 2006 02:03

oh dear god,
ok this day has been quite odd.

well, to start off, i am still alittle woozie from being sick recently, so obviously thru-out the day i am still "green around the gills" as grandma says.

Well, after forcing myself to get up this morning and wash my hair to practice driving and finish registering to college, grandma comes to pick me up and we set off down the road with me behind the wheel (not driving as well as usual) and we make our way to go to CVS then Schoolcraft. once we are done with CVS, i was quite hungry for i havent eaten a full meal in days (and today was the one day i wasnt throwing up *or at least dry-heaving* at just the THOUGHT of food)but i decided to just go on and get done with school first then go eat. we arrive at school and manage to find a spot to park and go inside. we go and end up having to be told that the classes that i specifically with reason signed up for are now FULL! *Grr* -im thinking in my head. we change the classes around to times and teachers who are open. after understanding what we must do next, i let out a big sigh of frustration and head straight to the cash register.
"ok ma'am, that'll be $600 please..."
*choke!* "uhhhh... i have recieved a grant and that should have paid for 400 of that."
"well then please go to the financial aid and they will fix it for you. its right around the corner"
(like as if i dont already know where its at considering the obSEEEEEN inconVENIENT amount of times ive had to leave and come BACK to the place!) *GRR!*

We go and fix things with a suprizing lack amount of difficulty and go back to pay, which DID go thru with no problem. we leave and go to get my id done. the picture WOULD have been beautiful... if it wee a mug shot! but im sure you could guess what my hidden personal oppinion of it is. (like what everyone else complains about as well)

We leave and go to the book store (which ended up being a nightmare all on its own!)
you see, the campus is basically in the middle of two huge parking lots and instead of the school being one big building, its all a bunch of little buildings with very few and rarely snatched parking spaces for the convenience of the handicaped, staff, reserved, and the very few spots for students. (it was raining today, might i add) so we went back and forth a number of times, faught, cursed acouple times, got screwed and eventually gave up when the little blond girls in their pretty new little sports cars stoll every spot just before us.*ROAR!* so after walking in the rain, getting books, and discovering just how fowl of a mood i was really in (due to the dier hunger pains in my gut, the inconvienience, and the sickness settling in again), we went to eat at Panara. *YIPPIE!*
i get to indulge myyself in my brockley/chedder soup in a bread bowl *hurray!* (but later realized that i ate WAY to fast that i got nauseated again and had some difficulty driving)
but i drove on the freeway and did fine at it. ^_6

Well at about 4:00, i finally get home and grandma leaves and i get to relax for the rest of the day and indulge in the excelence of being engulfed in a couch and an ugly blanket ive had since a kid and lay with the tv on and not worrying about anything until the next morning when i have to take my road test, which i feel quite confident in.

BUT WAIT! THERES MORE!
AT approximatly, 8:00 PM today (an hour and a half ago), we recieve a phone call from a very frantic elderly woman who i had once talked to when i called to schedule my test, and she stated that the man who was going to be my instructor for the test, has been hospitalized as of today and no one has any idea whats wrong with him or when he will ever be out, if he does get out. *sigh*

So now, i will not be taking my road test at this place (which means i need to spend my day tomorrow calling around for another place to take it as soon as possible), this poor man is in the hospital for reasons completely unknown and the old woman who ran the front office sounds like her hair was fried to her wits ends.
*sigh* well, all and all, i hope the driver guy is alright.

all i can say is that i think nearly everyone has had a bad day today. but i hope everything goes well now. HEY! at least im done with dealing whit geting registered for school! YAY! thats something for me to be cheery about, no doubt.
