When I went by my house Wednesday, my mom gave me some kind of dish with dressing in it and told me to take it to my sister's. She gave me some other instructions, but I wasn't really paying attention because I was starving. So my sister and I went over there again on Friday, and my mom asks "How was the dressing?" My sister immediately said, "What dressing?" And I looked away and said to myself, "Dressing. Dressing. What DID I do with the dressing?" So I finally decided that it must still be in my car. We'd been going everywhere in my sister's car, so it's not like I would have seen it. So when we got back to my sister's house, I went to my car and retrieved the dressing. My mom said that since it had been so cold, it should still be good. So we put it in the refrigerator. Fast forward to today. Late this afternoon we were getting hungry. Cheri decided to make Jessi a bowl of dressing and I was going to eat some with my sandwich. We put some in the microwave. It seemed to take a lot longer than normal to heat up, but it looked and smelled fine. It tasted like dressing, but it was too crumbly. My sister said it had a sandy texture. Basically...there was no way I was going to continue eating it. However, we gave it to Jessi and didn't say anything. Sure enough, she didn't like it either. Cheri told her that usually our grandmother makes good dressing. Jessi said, "Yeah, usually." I told her not to feel bad because we had both rejected the sandy dressing, too. A couple of hours later, my mom calls. I guess Cheri mentioned that the dressing tasted funny. Alright, this is where it gets good. So my mom says, "Well...did you cook it?" I'll give you three guesses as to the answer to that question. So, yes. Today, on Christmas day. My sister, my niece, and I all consumed a small amount of uncooked dressing. Ew.
