For all the painting that I do, I am intimidated by sketch books because I feel like it's hard to change something if I mess up. So I got a small sized one that fits comfortably in my hands and some cheap drawing pencils and a big eraser, so I don't have to worry about messing up or wasting valuable materials, and I just sort of messed around last night a little. I'm knee-deep in painting angels for the next month, as I've mentioned before, so I have to do a few things on the side to satiate my need to doodle.
The third of these is the one that everyone will like, but I had to warm up to it. I used the softer, smudgier ones for the first two sketches and a finer point for the last. Nothing special, just thought I'd share since I almost never post pen or pencil drawings, given my mania for color.
