What Happens at this Place in the Story?: Sirin, a 16-year-old descended from the Old King and his mistress, is half-loved, half-shunned. The Old Queen long dead, people outwardly smile at her now. She's an Immortal, stuck at 16 for the rest of her life. At Hotel Fairwin, she meets Vartan, a strange, secretive man who refuses to tell her anything. Their whirlwind romance begins, each with their own demons, and meanwhile someone is plotting to kill Sirin... Tell Us About the Place: Constructed almost as soon as the city became popular, the Old Queen, a vicious and jealous ruler after her husband died, shut it down and killed the owner, mostly because of it's popularity. When she died, the owner's great-grandson restarted it, and though it took awhile to take off, essentially it is just as popular now. Who owns this shop? Kiora Fairwin, daughter of the great-grandson who opened the shop again. She's very kind and always has a smile to spare, and she watches Sirin & Vartan with interest.
