Tell us about them: Adrianna is an international real estate broker, specializing in high-end, historical properties. She splits her time between London and Paris. She's always been more interested in closing the deal than with the properties she's selling, but she can't avoid the pull of a farming property in the Lorraine region, and finds herself outbidding her prospective clients. While cleaning out the old guesthouse, she finds information on the former owners, dating back to the early 20th century.
Jean-Louis is the former owner of Ile des Anges, the farming property Adrianna purchases. After his wife died during childbirth in Paris, Jean-Louis retreated to the countryside to raise his son. He constantly built and renovated the property, and some say his spirit still roams the house and surrounding fields; though she thinks she must be going mad, Adrianna thinks she still feels him there. He wrote in his journals daily, uninhibited in his words, and Adrianna begins to inexplicably fall for him...even though they've never met, and obviously, never will.
