Summary: Mara loved weather: rain and snow and sunshine, warm and cold weather, anything that provided a bit of change. Because she didn't see her getting out of the lab any time soon.

026. UTTER JOY
Mara spun herself around, holding onto the sunhat she was wearing, one she had dug out from the back corner of her closet.
She was so glad that her father allowed her to go out and look for some plants and rock samples they would need for future experiments. It was such a nice day! The sun was out, wildflowers were blooming, and there was a tree with a bird nest in the distance…! She loved cold weather, she really did, but it forced people to stay inside for too long at times, and during those times, people could become testy.
“Mara! What the hell is this thing!” Menos shrieked, even though she was sure he would say that he yelled or demanded an answer.
She was soon laughing on the ground as a rabbit kept hopping forward whenever Menos took a step back in horror.
