31: (grab bag weekend) [video/action for Tony Stark]

Dec 17, 2011 07:09

[It was their usual. Charlie'd head over to make dinner, help where she could whenever he needed a little extra heat for something and just generally goof off with Tony. She kept the workspace relatively clean, didn't touch a scrap of metal or a piece of wire or anything she thought he might need and even delayed going home by picking up a magazine ( Read more... )

[He looks at his wrist, brows a but furrowed - he was working on something and this is definitely disrupting it. But he laughs at her joke, sitting back in his chair to observe the cuff.]

Kinky. I knew I was dealing with kinky gods when I stepped into this place.

[She looks at their wrists again, shaking her head slightly. She's not sure if she's amused or not. Just uncertain. His laugh helps, though, and a half smile forms on her face.]

So, now what?

If it's a curse, there's no use trying to get out of it.

[He looks at his current project and sighs, setting the wrench aside.]

Bed's big enough for about five of us if you don't mind.

[If he's not going to get any work done, he might as well sleep, right?]

At least we're attached to people we get along with. [Also all of the kissing they've done. That's always fun, too. She almost wants to ask what he's doing with a bed that big but decides against it, vaguely remembering the list from a few days back. At his suggestion, she smiles slightly.]

I don't mind at all. I have to warn you, I don't know if I snore. [She doesn't snore.]

I'm told I'm a heavy sleeper regardless. And if I'd been cuffed to Barnes, I'd cut my hand off.

Bucky's not so bad. [She considers the boy family.]

I have to call out of work tomorrow, don't I? [Because working the Dragon while cuffed to Tony doesn't...entirely seem possible.]

Not unless they want to pay me for my presence there, too.

I'll call out. It would have made work interesting to have you there. [And probably way more amusing than it should be.] I think the next however long is going to be interesting enough without the added bonus of me trying to serve tea single handed.

[She's just going to be following you to your room, Tony.]

Not like we don't have all the time in the world in this place. No deadlines, no nothing. They can allow you a sick day- where do you work again?

The Jasmine Dragon. [With someone almost half her age as her boss.]

I'll pay them whatever losses they suffer.

[She just sort of shrugs, rubbing her eye with her free hand. Now would be the time for all of her insomnia to catch up to her, wouldn't it?] That's nice of you.

[It's really his decision. And when she spots the bed in his room, she blinks.] Wow, you weren't kidding.

I like to roll around.

[He actually doesn't. He just likes to get the biggest and best for himself sometimes.]

As long as you're not a blanket hog with all that rolling.

[This coming from the girl who hardly ever even uses blankets because she overheats.]

You're in luck- I have two blankets. Perhaps a third if I really tried to look- I don't know. I hardly use the damn thing.

Good to know. We should be fine, then. Except for the handcuffs. [She pauses, looking at the handcuffs and then at Tony again as she sat on the bed.] Actually, the handcuffs aren't too bad either, all things considered.
