Twenty One -Really someone should have told her about the whole no blinking thing.

[Heading home from yet another evening spent with Tony Stark, eating dinner (That she probably cooked) as usual, Charlie had the device in her hands and had it set to private. She didn't want to advertise the conversation to the Network. Not that it was bad. A bit flirty from both of them, a bit goofy on occasion.

But it was her and Tony's conversation. Not her, Tony and Everyone Else Ever in the City.]

Really? The robot's name is 'Dummy'?

Yeah. Trust me. The name fits him perfectly.

[Charlie just laughed, head thrown back slightly before turning her eyes back to the device.]

That's awf--[Charlie paused, eyes looking elsewhere. She was kind of confused at something. Turning the device towards what she was looking at and when she spoke, there was the faintest hint of worry in her voice.]

How long has that been there?

[For all she knew, she missed it, but Charlie was now and would always be hyper aware of her surroundings. She turned the device back to herself, hearing Tony let out a slightly tense "huh". And then the power went off around her, hardly any light showing at all. Instantly, she was on high alert, tense and watching everything. Something wasn't right at all. She glanced down at him for a second, eyes flitting back up and she startled, the device hitting the ground and the camera lense on her end splitting The feed also switches to public and what happens from here to the end is visible for all.] God. It moved. I don't like this at all. [And if the flash of red-orange-yellow light were any indication, Charlie had under-stated her dislike of this situation. When she spoke again, it was an odd mix of anger and panic and despite her best effots to not let that fear show through, she probably failed at it..]

...the fuck? How did that not work? I hit it with everything and--shit!

[This is where she stops speaking because the statue moved again. There's a flickering orange light, Charlie's shadow on the wall suddenly joined by one of an angel, arms outstretched towards her. Her sneaker, turned to run from the statue was in front of the screen for just a second before simply vanishing in another flicker of a nearby fire (one Charlie may have accidentally started in a trash-can when she used her ability). The shadows vanished and everything went quiet, the picture from her device flickering out with the sound of static.]

[ooc: slightly early post is slightly early (by about 20 minutes, my time tony used with permission. Charlie will return tomorrow night. Her uncursed luck had to run out eventually, right? feel free to at least see the flash of light or something but the busted device is Tony's till Charlie gets back.]
