Including my private thoughts...it seems the magic of these devices extends to protecting their content, so that makes them the first place I can write down my true intentions for posterity - after all, these are meant to record the war

I haven't always totally agreed with Lord Enma's specific policies, but his underlying beliefs parallel my own, and he is my liege. Besides that, I'm a native son of the territory he rules by right, and I could hardly raise my hand against my countrymen.

Lord Enma, like every wise clan leader, considers everyone a potential threat, but as I have no desire to rule Clan Enma or the Empire ([Private]completely true, actually[/Private]), he has nothing to fear from me, nor I him.
