30 Days of TV -- Day 13
Day 13 -- Favorite childhood show
THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY
I wasn't sure how to interpret "childhood show". When I was a young, *opens up dusty tome of antiquity*, you either watched kiddie programming like Captain Kangaroo, or you watched shows that were really aimed at adults, but you had no choice because, hey, that's what was on. (I remember liking the old black & white Perry Mason a lot.) If you wanted to watch something that was actually made for pre-teens, you had two choices, The Brady Bunch, which was for NERDS, or The Partridge Family. For the first and only time in my life, I took the non-Nerd option. The fact that I hadn't actually achieved pre-teen status at this point was no detriment. I watched the show, I bought the records, I read Tiger Beat magazine, I cut the magazines up and plastered my bedroom wall with pictures. Without a doubt, my favorite show.
And now the whole reason for this post...an excuse to post a video!
