personally, i really regret not going to a university right away. if money is an issue for you like it was for me, then community college is the unavoidable route just because i suppose it's better to do two years at a good private school than four at a mediocre school. howeverrrrr if you can go to ucsc, see if you like it, then possibly transfer somewhere else that's what i would do. i have ALWAYS regretted going to saddleback, i'm hoping it only takes me one more year to get out of here, but it's dragging by - the teachers are awful and orange county is..well. You know. If you do go to community college, go to a different city. even the people i know who went to a university they did not like ended up learning something from the experience, and most of them were not anymore satisfied when they came back.

well, you're a very smart girl. i have no doubt that you'd be able to adapt to and make the best of whatever situation you end up in.

i was going to sf, started having second thoughts and began slacking on all the applications i had to fill out to finalize it, finally decided i wanted to go - but alas. a little too late. i went to saddleback last year and am going again this year, hopefully going abroad after this year or transferring. i haven't figured anything out there at all, i'm just getting general ed done and its awfulllllllll. have you decided what you're going to do yet?

no i have no idea and because of that i feel like i have no direction. my interests range far and wide and i become nervous that i will miss something if i limit myself to one interest. i just dont feel like college is right for me at the moment but dont know what else to do since ive already put it off for a year and everything/one has been pointing me/us in this direction since i can remember. what about you?
