According to PASOO or the Philippine Association for the Study of Overweight and Obesity, the safest rate to lose weight is to lose it gradually. To be exact lose only as much as 10% of your total body weight in six months. Research also shows that the most effective way to shed fat or gain muscle through exercise is to make it a habit. Meaning doing it at least 3 times a week. But of course not everyone has the time to do that. We are all stuck in what we need to do that even just the thought of exercise makes you cringe. But the truth is, if you want to live a healthy and long life. You need to adapt a healthy lifestyle which includes giving time for exercise.
This is where I come in.
Being a graduate of the College of Human Kinetics in the University of the Philippines. I have been equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to help anyone who wants to have a healthier lifestyle achieve just that through exercise and other "ACTIVE"vaties. And with the rate that the new
"metabolic syndrome" is rising and with our obesity levels
not improving, it's high time that we do something about it. But again, either A: we don't have the time. Or B: we don't have the time.
So here goes.
I am here to bridge that gap between exercise and your time-less routines. For a few years now I have been working and training under my fathers trusty wing in the field of personal and sports training. We actually have set up our own corporation: Strength and Conditioning Inc. and our mission is to help people change their lifestyles to improve their health and quality of life. For the past year, I have been training people on my own from groups of corporate people to high school kids. We're not the typical fitness institution who presents results which at times can only be temporary. We want to instill long term values and like I said a lifestyle that you will take with you even after we part ways. So the effects are long term and most importantly the programs are scientifically designed to fit you and only you. I have years of training in this field, and behind me, my father has decades. Now how will we bridge that gap I was talking about? We will bring the gym to your home and we will be there to help you train your way to a healthy lifestyle. Need more motivation? As I said earlier, PASOO says you need 6 months to safely lose 10% of your total body weight. That means you have from November until April, which is the start of summer and the bikini and beach season, to lose that extra weight. If you're a 160 pound male who is 5'8". And you don't normally exercise which means most of that weight is not muscle. That means you can be down 16 pounds come April. What's more, you can stay on that weight which is actually just OK for your height, lose the fat and gain more muscle. Which is the way to go.
