Meet Igarashi Taiki, 五十嵐大樹.
If you've seen a boy with bobbish hair and an absent-minded stare during JJL livestages, then you've meet Taiki. He has a shy smile, a soft spoken voice and likes cats. He plays ice hockey (such a cool cat sport), basketball and looks up to Yamashita Tomohisa and Morimoto Ryutaro. More than being a great dancer or being favoured by Johnny-san, this is a kid that I think has real potential and is a hard enough worker to make his way to the top one day. Besides Myuto, who I adore and support more than any of my favorite juniors, Taiki is the one other junior I want to give that level of support to.
Admittedly, I have no idea when he joined JE. But this is Taiki's first (and most likely only) magazine appearance from 2009's December issue of Wink Up. I included Rikito in the cut because I miss him :) I love this photo because I love Johnny's with short haircuts and find a real confidence in boys willing to show their foreheads lol
This was the first time I really noticed Taiki, during the 2011.10.07 SC where he was one of the three main dancers along with Kento and Hokuto for Yamada's Hitomi no Screen solo. I loved his dancing. Unlike Myuto who just looks so natural in his dance, and Kishi whose an energetic dancer, Taiki's more of a precision dancer. His moves are very pin point and I find it captivating in ways.

Having gone through these old episodes, I've finally realized just how long some juniors have been around and didn't all just magically appear with the JaPAnizu Hi bunch at the start of last year.
Here's an extra screencap from last years SMAPxSMAP of the Suzuki twins for pure adorableness.
From ABC-Z's debut DVD (which wasn't as much of a let down as I thought, but my mind still wasn't blown and I was really dissapointed with the lack of concert footage) but Taiki can be seen being a complete poser.
Before the new Takichannel calendar got updated, I didn't even know his name (and there was too much pride in me to post a request in a jr community for people to identify him for me lol) so for the first 3 months I just called him small eyes. When I was going through all the birthdays, I didn't expect to find him and without looking I stopped on his profile. With the angle and hair, you could mistake the photo to be any number of different juniors but the "Arashi" kanji in his name made me stop and realize it was him.
There hasn't been a lot of infromation given about him, everything here has been the result of my diligent stalking research but I'll definitely watch over him from now on and will be happy to see him get new fans.
