Honestly, I wasn't shocked or surprised or angry when I saw this headline on Aramajapan.com. I just couldn't even feel any emotion. All I could muster was a dry laugh because this is absolutely ridiculous. With the photo, tape recording, letter and magazine interview, out of all the Johnny's Jr scandals that I've read over the years this has got to be the cherry on the goddamn frickin' Shuukan Bunshu cake. And it's about Myuto.
I never thought in a million years that Myuto, out of all the boys in the jimsho, would create this kind of scandal. His innocent face covering my whole screen on the Arama's home page. It's almost impressive in a way. I'm not saying his the only one out of what, 600 boys? to have a girlfriend or have sex and he might not even be the first to get a girl pregnant, but to have so much evidence against you and to have handled it so poorly ...When other boys were accused of having girlfirends, going to gokons, abusing stalker fans or going to love hotels at most all those scandals had were blurry black and white photos and a statement from a dubious 'A-kun' or 'B-san'.
Whether he was approached or he went to give an interview to the magazine company by himself that was just stupid. Keep your mouth shut in these situations and wait for your agency to respond. I'm not even going to comment on the content of the tape recording, mostly because I don't understand the majority of what's being said, but also because words can easily been taken out of context. However, even though he sounded calm on the tape (which I take is due to his personality which is a little passive) he was definitely talking aggressively to the girl and being a bit verbally abusive. I'm not the type to judge a book by it's cover and I certainly don't assume the one that's crying is always the victim and the one talking defensively is the one at fault but it doesn't look good for Myuto.
Reputation wise, his not going to be able to recover from this. We'll just have to see what the consequence of this is for him. Johnny's who have been caught for much less or Johnny's worth a lot more to the company have been punished and kicked out so who knows.
I had a real fit about the Sexy Zone split earlier this week and I can't believe I'm now writing a post about a scandal involving Myuto.
