(no subject)
2010 was a pain till the very end, but now to look to the future that is 2011 o-o
Fanime, this might just be the year you and I met.
The friends I usually room with at con's is actually going to try for Fanime this year, and now that I can legally drive, and have my own car, I dont have to worry about transportation like I always would before. Thing is we're all total noobs at what to do for Fanime, it'll be all of ours first time at the con, so does anyone have any advice on how much we should save up? what has to be done prior? hotel recommendation? how the food situation is there compaired to AX's overly priced, scattered eatteries?
Any advice at all would be SUPER helpful, since I think practically eveyone on here has been to Fanime but me ._.;
Also, any recommendations for animes?
If i end up going, I doubt i'll take many of the cosplays I already have, but Im not so into anything at the moment - i haven't even really been keeping up in the anime community really, so I might try to work in one new cosplay? assuming it's not hard, but I also just want to get back into the "swing of things"
Edit: is it me or is the map that displays the hotel's location, completely wrong?
oh and does anyone know the price to park at the convention? i can't seem to find that info on the site >:c
