Safe and unharmed
I got a concerned email today, so I thought I'd pop in and make a report.
Montgomery got hammered by a F2 tornado yesterday, but Toby and I are fine. Worst thing that happened here was that we had no cable or internet last night. I'm not complaining, though, keeping in mind what some people very near by were going through.
It was kind of scary though, because it flattened a day care center (none of the 30-something people inside were hurt) that was no more than 300-400 yards from my old house. It also took out some apartment buildings that were in front of my old neighborhood.
As far as I know, my old house is unharmed, but it makes one think.
