Ok...Back from Dinner!! Here is the big California Update!

"Please keep your hands, arms, feet and legs inside the post at all times. Thank you."

Day 1-TRAVEL
We left Orlando Intl. at 7:00, the 1st flight out! Wow, that's early!! lol. Kept thinking about the interesting conversation I had with Dori the night before. lol. I was really tired!! We landed in LA at 9:25, on California time, so it was 12:25 to us, we wanted lunch, but the only food was breakfast!! So, we waited. Got all of the bags, got the rental car, and went off to fight the freeway traffic! It really wasn't bad at 10:30, but still the LA freeways are big and crowded. We got to the Disneyland Hotel, just to find out that the room request I made (overlooking downtown disney) was not noted, so we were facing the pool. The lady was very nice, and put in for another room, which we got, and it DID overlook downtown disney, disneyland, and disney's california adventure! The view was amazing! Fireworks every night! The Hotel was really nice, and the balcony with view really added to it!!!

Day 2-DISNEY'S CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE! (and some of Disneyland)
DCA opened at 10, so we were there just after that at, like 10:15 or so. We went strait for Soarin(same one that's at EPCOT), just to discover that the line was already at 30 min, so we got a Fastpass. We went over to the River Rapids, which was closed due to techinal difficulties. So, off to Paradice Pier and all the thrill rides! We went on the Golden Zepher(giant cars that spin around on cables), which is more exciting than it looks, lol. And then we went to the Orange Stinger(like the gian yo-yo's at fairs, but it tilted and went really fast!), which if I had seen what it was, i would have NEVER gone on it, but i did go on it, and felt really sick! After that "wonderful" time on the Orange Stinger, we went to Mullholland Madness (think primeval whirl without the spinning), which was really neat, the drops really catch you by surprise! Then to the Sun Wheel (think Ferris Wheel on steriods) which had an amazing view of the mountains and of Disneyland and DCA! Then we got Fastpasses to California Screamin (like Rock n' Roller Coaster outdoors), and went back to Soarin. anyhow, we then got Fastpasses for the Grizzly River Run, which was really fun!. I skipped on Screamin', and we got HOT, FRESH, WONDERFUL, AMAZING,...... TORTILLAS!!!! lol. We then went to Disneyland (DL), which is a smaller version of the magic kingdom, but it has way more rides, and most of them are different. The parks face each other, so it's really easy to park-hop (unlike back at Disney World). The enterances are literally 200 ft. appart!! anyhow, the 1st ride....The Matterhorn (rollercoaster), which i thought was awsome, mom disagreed. lol. And then to the Monorail, which get this...is a RIDE! not like for Transportation, but a ride! lol. It was neat, but I got stuck on it for 40 min. about 60 ft. away from the station, coming back in. I went in the park alone, and saw some really neat stuff, went on the Haunted Mansion DARK PLACES!! lol, and some other stuff, including INDANIA JONES! That is one amazing ride, think spiderman, but 20 times better! and Mr. Toad!! lol...I miss that ride! lol. anyhow...Saw FANTASMIC!, completely different show than at MGM. Still Really good! Then, back to hotel.

Day 3-PCH (PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY) AND THE QUEEN MARY SHIP
PCH was boring. nothing much to say. lol. The queen mary was neat for about 20 min, then it was boring too, so i called dori!! lol. pretty old ship...lol. went to this cool restraunt for dinner, the place held the world record for most beers on tap!! 250+!! it was really cool, and the food was really good too! then, back to the hotel. Wow...wrote alot less about day 3 then day 2!

Day 4-HOLLYWOOD
We went into Hollywood, which was pretty cool. Went down the walk of fame, saw the Mann's Theatre, and took a tour of the Kodak Theatre, where the Academy Awards are held every year. That's such a cool theatre! Got to sit in the VIP lounge...I was in somebody's chair, like George Lucas or something. lol. anyhow...after that, we went to the studios, which was cool too! Then we went to our friends house for dinner! It was really good Mexican food! And...back to the hotel

Day 5-DISNEYLAND (and some DCA)
Went to Disneyland, saw some really neat stuff there, and went on Rodger Rabbit's CARtoon Spin! GREAT RIDE!! lol. Anyhow, saw Aladdin, which was an absolutely AMAZING show, the Genie was hillarious, i am still laughing from alot of his jokes. (Talk to the left, cause you ain't right!) anyhow...Saw the Fireworks and some other stuff, it was great!

Day 6-MORE DISNEYLAND (and some more DCA)
Really got to see a bunch of our favorites again, and I took a turn on Screamin! I was scared to death, but it was worth it! Wow, that was a pretty amazing ride! The loop was really neat, but the 0-60 in 1.9 sec. launch was by far the best part, cause u only stop for like 1 sec. and they launch you, so you really don't have time to sit there and panic, it just goes, and doesn't slow down until the very end...the picture was pretty funny too, but i didn't get it! lol. Saw Aladdin agian, cause it was so good! lol. The jokes were almost completely different, so i kept laughing! The genie's best line..."A Princess falling in love with a low-life....sounds like a Brittney Spears Story!" and "vote for pedro!" lol!! Anyhow, it was great! We went back to Disneyland for the night after a swim in the pool. The parade was really good too!! That was it for Disneyland, we packed up, and got ready to get out in the morning.

Day 7-TRAVEL
Made it home!! nothing really exciting here!
