i had just completed running 2 miles when i decided to do some laundry. entering the basement i found it flooded and all of my stuff in the storage unit down there was soaking. apparently my landlord thought it would be a great idea to use a pressure washer on the walls and ceilings of the unit above the basement. needless to say about an entire ocean of water rained down through the ceiling right on top of my stuff.
you can't unburn things, and you can't undo a situation like this one either. it sucks, but what are you going to do about it? my landlord did end up giving me six ears of sweetcorn. i ended up giving them to the neighbors.
on a brighter note, yesterday i did end up bowling a 178 in one game.
