I just got home from the University of Vermont orientation. I really liked the orrientation but here is what haooened that kinda pissed me off a little. Originally they make everyones ID number their Social Security Number. Now with ID theft being what it is in the United States (#1 Crime) and my father being a past victim of ID theft I knew that I had to change it and I wanted it changed right away. So I changed it in the school system and everything to a random compter number. Now here is where things get all messed up.. Im not really sure how this whole thing happens but here we go. The computer changed my number on my CATcard (UVM ID) and on most things. However, it hs not changed my ID number on my email through UVM or my application status menu ono the UVM website....and this whole thigns is really bothering me. I dont know what to do. I have yelled at like a million people about this and I dont want to be a pain but at the same time it is really important to me that this whole thing is fixed ASAP. I dont want this whole thing to follow me everywhere for the whole time that I spend in college. BLAH!
Other than that everythings is great. Today Im going to talk to George and Ylana and yesterday I talked to Scott L.
