why place yourself in a category of mediocrity when you know you are capable of being spectacular. of course the question "am i good enough" pops into your head every time you attempt the impossible, but you never know the result until you try. why not be that guy who asks girls out who look 10 times better then the girls he normally dates. why not try a new food for the first time, even though it smells and looks disgusting. obviously, one case is far different from the other, but they both have the same viewpoint on what you are trying to explain. you can never predict the future...that's just the way it goes. so why would you put your head down and let the most opportune moments pass you by...it shouldn't be on a feeling you have that you might fail. you know its amazing...these are the kinds of things we are worried about now (rejection and failure), when in a couple of years we are going to be worrying about jobs, wife's, and even rent money. its better to get some failures out of the way now because it is just inevitable that everyone experiences them in some way or another.

just remember...even Michael Jordan shoots an airball from time to time and even Tiger Woods drives the ball into the trees once in a while.
