fic writing meme
I saw this on one of the many fanficcing communities I watch. I thought it looked interesting.
1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Put iTunes or equivalent media player on random.
3. For each song that plays, write something related to the theme you picked inspired by the song. You have only the time frame of the song: no planning beforehand: you start when it starts, and no lingering afterward; once the song is over, you stop writing. (No fair skipping songs either; you have to take what comes by chance!)
4. Do 5 of these, then post.
Fandom/Pairing - Fullmetal Alchemist, Roy/Ed
1) Passion - Kingdom Hearts 2
The flowers seemed like a stupid touch. Did you give a man flowers when you were dating him? Maybe some would enjoy it, but Roy didn't think Ed would. Hell he wasn't sure anymore. He loved Ed, loved him.. and well he was pretty sure he fucked up. He should have pushed that woman away, resisted a bit more.. sure.. she threw herself at him, but the look on Ed's face..
Roy doubted he would ever forget those damned golden eyes of his. Wide with horror and shock as he walked into his lover's house to find that woman all over him..

He had to fix this, he just had to. He didn't know if the flowers would work or not, or if the apologies would get Ed back.. but goddammit he had to try.
2) Yoshi's Island - Flower Garden - Super Smash Brothers Brawl
A date. That's what this was really. A Picnic in the park with Roy...
Well at least it was a nice day.
Lunch was consumed and soon the two men were unsure of what activity that they should pursue next. After some thinking, Roy smirked and pulled out an odd-shaped ball out of sports bag he had brought along.
Ed pouted and folded his arms. "I am so not playing football with you bastard. You'll just tackle me and use it as an excuse to feel me up."
Roy shrugged. Perhaps Ed knew him a bit too well.
3)Gravitation - Glaring Dream
The rain came down in buckets as Roy stood there, clutching his umbrella.
Ed, soaked to the bone and not sheltered by an umbrella, stood there, staring at the man.
Roy watched as the rain dripped off him as he stood there, panting and staring at the older man. No doubt tired from the running he had done moments earlier.
The Flame Alchemist took a deep breath, never taking his eyes off the Fullmetal Alchemist. He extended his hand out.
Ed looked up at him for a few moments, which seemed like an eternity to both of the men standing there. Should he go with Roy or run again?
Tired of waiting for an answer, Roy cleared his throat, getting ready to speak. However, he barely got a word out before feeling a warm body wrapped around his.
Looking down, he saw a pair of expressive golden eyes staring up at him, peering into his soul.
"Take me home.." Ed muttered.
4)Yume no Tsubasa - Tsubasa Chronicles
Ed's familiar wild smile crossed his face as he stared out onto the horizon. His hands were shoved into his pockets and he was just so happy. He couldn't help but keep that silly grin on his face.
His life seemed to be heading in the right direction. Everything was going great. Nothing could stop him from reaching for that stars. Yes, everything was just awesome right now.
Plus, he was banging Roy Mustang, so that was awesome too.
5) Life is a Highway - Cars Soundtrack
The wind was caressing his face, messing up his hair as he drove along in his bright red convertible. He looked over at his shorter passenger and saw his long ponytail trailing behind him like a golden ribbon. There was no way to hide to enjoyment etched on his face.
There was virtually nothing around them as he drove along, just the road ahead of him and miles and miles of empty space. It was..liberating. Just the car, his lover, and the music blaring on the radio.
Paradise.
