Today I worked at CVS.

The phone rings, I answer it. Normal stuff.

The woman on the line says "Can you tell me what date is Valentine's Day?"

I blink for a second(after all, why call CVS asking what day is Valentine's day?). I think that perhaps she wants to know what day of the week it falls on.

So I try to figure out what day February 7th falls on, since it's close and a week before Valentine's.

So I struggle for a minute and say "Uh.. hold on."

She goes "You know, like today is February 3rd? What day is Valentine's?"

I blink again.

"Um.. the 14th."

"Are you sure?"

"....yes."

"Do you know what day of the week is that? Oh wait, I'll just look on a calendar! Thanks!"

She hung up after that.

I looked at the phone for a minute in disbelief and then hung up(after all, why didn't she look at a calendar in the first place? o__O??). One of my co-workers looked at me(and I swear she had o_O on her face) and I said "She wanted to know when Valentine's was."

"Like.. the day of the week?"

"No.. she wanted to know if it was February 14th."

She had nothing to say after that. Neither did I.
