Summer of 2011 Look back: I've entered the matrix
i decided to do a look back on all the summers of this decade and why not start with the one that technically started them all
To start this by no means was this an eventful summer but it was a good summer. A summer in which i actually just spent a good bit of it grounded with no TV in my room (for no reason mind you) but damn did it have some awesome music. I remember setting up my boombox and chair in the garage and just spending hours listening to music and writing in my journal, and when I wasnt in the garage i was playing basketball in my driveway. I didnt really do anything with my friends this summer, it was mostly spent on my own. I actually did alot of growing up this summer. I began to look at music and life in a new light. At this point i was starting to put together what my first top 50 favorite artists would be. This would also be the only summer to feature song,band, and album of the summer all by the same artist.
