(no subject)
So today at work, we ended up talking about pie as a result of the Thanksgiving planning. And there was much rambling about pumpkin pie. I mentioned my sister's husband and got stopped - "isn't that your brother-in-law?" Huh, that's right. I have a brother-in-law. Unlike my brother, the brother-in-law never calls me up drunk in the dead of the night. I wonder how Bart is doing. Also, I wonder how Andy is doing. I can bet I know how Gwen is doing. I am going to see Mom and Dad Wednesday.
So then I go on to mention the sister's son and am corrected about nephews.
Right.
I don't think I use many family words at all, especially not enough to use the right ones.
Anyway, health has only been reasonable of late - kind of scuzzy in the head/nose/throat, but otherwise at full power. Seems like the weather is affecting everybody (the lukewarm back and forth between warm and cold has everybody feeling it).
Been playing lots of good games. Most of them are video games (Terraria, Skyrim, L4D2). The rpg around Harrisburg is currently Deadlands (spaghetti western with meat), and it is currently excellent. A good group makes for a good game, even if you don't get much done in a day. And it is even better when you are rolling cowboys and injuns fighting supernatural nonsense.
Holiday soon. Time to relax.
