Not a democrat, actually. A little on the conservative side of center. Don't suppose you've read my previous blog posts on the existence of evil?
Your comment made me chuckle, actually. I haven't seen such a bigoted assumption about my gender in a long time; it's almost funny to see just how much one's assumptions about women can cloud one's judgment. Does it help if I say I'm quite in support of the death penalty for premeditated and/or vicious first-degree murder, whatever the neurology of the offender? Thought it might.
Asperger's doesn't have anything to do with morality. Narcissism, sociopathy, and bad anger-management are not even on the diagnostic criteria for AS.
There is a big difference between not automatically copying others' emotions and not caring about how other people feel; in fact, I have seen a great deal of idealism among people with Asperger's. Our vulnerability to con artists and other unsavory types can in fact come from a very strong belief in the "rules of life".
If there's any connection between AS and crime, it's on the victim end of things. We are more likely to be the targets of assault, rape, and even murder. On the less physical side of things, we're more likely to fall for scams or be blind to the true nature of those we consider friends.
Your view on one subject, has almost no significance to the picture as a whole. I am not going to argue with you about common symptoms of Aspergers, google is your friend. I am glad that at the very least, you got a chuckle out of my post. Most people take me too seriously :] I would wager that most of the truly great serial killers had symptoms of AS.
Trust me, Google is NOT your friend when there's still so much bad publicity surrounding autism. If Google had existed in the 1950s or before, you would have gotten similar results for black people.
I can stop posting if you like? Don't look a gift horse in the mouth :]
Google returns both accurate, and inaccurate data. Its up to you to determine whats credible or not -- Google is just a tool. If you look hard enough, you will find some stuff written by people with PhD's that back my claim.
Who is to say the 50's were wrong about black people? lol. Why are many AS men attractive, yet all AS women are fat and/or ugly? I believe I know the answer to this, just curious if you come to the same conclusion ;)
