I believe in absolute truth (except in the matter of subjective opinions).
I believe that, in every situation, there is a single best choice, or at least two choices tied for best.
I believe that, when you have to choose between two evils, there is always a third option.
I believe in good and evil as objective forces, not subjective feelings.
I try to treat everyone with respect, just because they are human, without regard to my personal like or dislike of them.
I believe that people are fundamentally valuable and have certain rights that should never be taken from them.
I see people's actions in the best possible light; I see them as decent people until they prove otherwise.
I believe God's love applies to everyone, not just a chosen few; but that his justice also applies to everyone.
I see people as fundamentally fallible and imperfect; but I also see them as born with a knowledge of what is good--a conscience. (Sociopaths aside.)
I believe in helping others; but that helping them to do things for themselves is superior to letting them depend on you.
I believe that truth is one of the most important things in the world, second only to Good--and that the two are usually the same thing.
