Workin Girl
Wow its been ages since i have updated in here. Well the newest news is I have a new job in the last couple of monthes i have had 3 lol the hot topic stint was fun for a little while but it was a really thankless job in the long run i hate retail well at least clothing retail . I quit that job to start working at Sally Beauty Supplies in the Edgewood towncenter. And then my lovely Khephra was walking through Oakland one day and happened to see a sign in a window of a salon " seeking experiences colourists hair cutters benefits hourly plus bonuses" I figured what the hell i've taken a year off from working in a salon so She helped me redo my resume. I went down there handed it in filled out an application and got interviewed on the spot and then asked to come in for a second interview the very next day and a phone call the next day saying that even tho we had only talked about part time employment a girl had quit that very day and a full time 40 hour slot was now open and waiting for me!!!! I've worked there 3 days so far after i got done at Sally's next week will be my first full time week there it seems really rad so far. I am going to be busing it tho since it is in Oakland and parking is near impossible there plus the cost is outrageous.
