I was hoping to be a bit domestic today and make brownies. I had a Girardelli mix that I've been saving for just the right moment to make. It smelled so good going into the oven. It smelled so good in the oven. It smelled so good as it cooled after the oven. Then I tasted it. Ewww. Who knew that canola oil goes bad 5 years past the expiration date??
