...my sanity while playing Enchanted Arms.
As much as I hate admitting I wasted 30$ for this game, I'm still trying to play it. So, in order to compensate, I'm gonna type up my thoughts while playing the game. Note that this is collective series, so there will be several attempts of trying to play this while trying to resist the urge of play FF8.
Day 1: Fighting through the prisons and go to the boss (or sub boss) of the Waterways
-Okay. First fight in prison done solo. Not that bad considering I just EX spammed.
Wait.
Wait what?
I had to manually add party members.
MANUALLY ADD PARTY MEMBERS.
This...this is unfathomable.
The waterways theme is like, two riffs. That's it.
These golems things are useless in battle. I don't know why I have them in my party. But, the added two party members make this MUCH more easier. And the japanese voice acting makes this much more tolerable the English one. Aside from Kirk being the cannot-conceal-evil-even-if-he-tried teacher.
Crimmety. The text is hard to see. I mean, worse than Lost Odyssey.
Woo~ Level up
RPG common sense usually states that the map should be at the bottom left or right or something of the screen instead of having to press a button. This game, however, spits at common sense.
I have a feeling that as soon as I finish this area, Atsuma will do something stupid. I will give myself a break if I'm right.
I STILL can't believe that the game actually teaches you how to use a ladder. Oh sure. In Action games, that makes sense. But in a bloody RPG? I...I won't forget that. Ever.
Oh yeah. Way to conceal impending boss fight guys by having the enemies RIGHT THERE. *applauds*
I am not going to survive this fight.
That's it. Rage quit.
