Hear ye, hear ye...calling all hands!!
Well, it's that time. Time to say goodbye to Six Dead Queens, and put them back in their theoretical bed for the rest of eternity. How we enjoyed their visit to us! Now that the queens won't be using the bed we built them, it's time to take it all apart. We WILL be storing the various pieces for potential re-use this summer as part of Artscape, so no...no 20 lb. sledgehammers will be allowed. :( I know...makes me sad too. But we will have to remove the set before March 14th, as the lovely ladies of Gilded Lily will be performing on the stage, and though I can bet we'd like to share our bed with them, we need to get our stuff out of their way.
Hours we'll be working will depend on the availability of you lovely people and any friends you pass this plea on to. But it will be after working hours (after 5:30-6pm.) We again will need some tools. Socket sets, screw guns, and the like. Once we get the bed dissassembled we'll move the pieces into the rehearsal room...for "safe" keeping. Karen Moul, Mobtown's president is offering up some large plastic totes to store props in. After the stage is cleared, we need to repaint the stage floor black.
If y'all good people can let me know when/if you'd be available to lend a hand, and PLEASE pass the message on to anyone you think might be willing to give some help.
I bribe thee with pizza and beer. :)
