Sixteen and a half years ago to the day, an energetic loving furball came into my life, providing company and unconditional love. For all that time I have been blessed and am thankful I have had one of the most beautiful, smartest dogs in the world. Unfortunately I had to let her go this morning, and it is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. My solace is knowing she's in a better place... and hope she can forgive me the wait until I see her again to give her another belly rub.
