... are the best. My sister and mom are watching Mad About Mambo in the living room and I can hear it. I've already seen it 1 1/2 times. And it's not that great of a movie. I just like the Irish accents.

So the first month of Honors we did writing. Sawatzki called it a boot camp crash writing course. And I passed with flying colors. I contribute a great part of my successful writing skills to roleplaying. This month we are studying wars. Each group has a different war to cover and we have to do a 40 minute presentation. I'm working with Brian and Nick and we are doing the War of 1812. Nick... Nick is just a whole long story I don't really have time to tell. In summary- Day 1 he caught my eye. By the end of week 1 I figured that I'm not attracted to him, he just intrigues me intellectually [which I enjoy very much]. Month 1 I got myself on his radar and learned that he gets along well with Brian [who I couldn't stand for two years and has now been my good friend for over a year] and has a corny sense of humor. I landed myself in their group for this project, and while at the moment it looks like I may have to be peacekeeper between the two of them, it should work well. He was trying to get me to help him with a note to his girlfriend today. I didn't, so we'll see if it bombed or not. He has really cool eyes. They're intensely blue, very big. I've always liked blue eyes, but I've never seen anything like his.
I think I have a crush on ...
guess...
That can wait. This morning Tracy was talking non stop about Tony Hawk. Okay, skateboarding is kind of cool, but I DON'T CARE. Yeah.
I dyed my hair last night. It's dark brown now. All of my highlights are gone. I have no more blonde. I have no more reddish-ness. Just brown. And I kind of like it. But only TWO of my friends commented on it. I don't know if the rest of the world is just blind or what. I don't know if I'll add any highlights... I just know I badly need a haircut. It's driving me nuts. I can't wear it down for a whole day. I ended up putting it back before lunch. They were out of salads at lunch. =(
So have you figured out who I like? I bet you're thinking... Nick. Well you'd be...
My mom is on a cleanse.. thing. She's not eating anything for three days. That means she'll be sickly and possibly moody, if she has enough energy. She has to drink these shake things and epsom salts for two mornings. It's no fun to have someone all sickly in the house. Plus, that means she won't be making dinner. I guess I can live with that though. Maybe I'll cook. Maybe.
I was going to say 'did you know that war is funny?' but that sounds TOTALLY insensitive. What I mean is that when I was reading about the war of 1812 today, I started laughing. I know that's pretty... sadistic, but I couldn't help it. The president was rather reckless in putting the nation into war, and the army was pathetic, run by a bunch of old senile drunkards. The battles in Canada were lost because one old senile guy believed the lie that thousands of Native Americans were off waiting to attack where they couldn't be seen, the second battle was lost because most of the army decided they weren't compelled to cross the Canadian border, and the third battle wasn't even fought because the whole section of the army decided the same thing. I guess I was mostly amused that a powerful military officer was old and senile. And that they were all snotty about how they weren't under obligation to leave the country.
Anyway... if you said Nick, you'd be...

WRONG! =) That was fun for me.
I think I like Andy. I've showed about five of my friends who he is now... Maybe when I get done with all of my beginning web design shtuff [should be soon... I'm almost done with chapter 8 and the course usually only takes everyone through ch. 6] I'll move over with the advanced students. He sits over by them. Yeah. He's very cute. *nods* yeah.
Okay, I'm off to ... I don't know. I have a ton of stuff to do... I'll just have to decide what to do first. I'm aware that this is a very long entry, but hey, I only get to do this once every week or two or three. So love me anyway.
Au revoir.
