So my Junior year has officially started.
So what everybody said was partially true. You do get homework in the first day of school or so it seems in History AP. I have received my U.S History AP book which is about the size of an old dictionary weighing over 1 KG. I can't say I'm pleased. After all, I have a quiz tomorrow on DKMAH (Don't know much about history) Chapter 1 and a study guide due next Wednesday accompanied with another quiz on my TEXTBOOK Chapter 1.
Not pleased at all.
On other matters, I'm taking Calculus this year. It was a miracle enough that I passed Pre-Calculus, but now Calculus? After receiving my STAR math scores yesterday, I realized that I'm not a genius in math. Will I survive Calculus? Possibly. Will I survive the AP exam? Probably not.
I also find myself missing my old Piano teacher. She was so much easy going. . Along the line that she didn't really teach much and just let us play the piano and enjoy the music. Not to mention, I did not like playing the scales. It's not the new teacher's fault. It's partially my fault. I just can't seem to get use to her teaching style. Despite giving us about 15-20 free minutes to play whatever we want, I would've appreciated it more if she just gave us music and we played it.
The only class I can look forward to was Yearbook. It's a bit different without the previous EICs, but the class looks alright. It seems I'm still the youngest in the Yearbook room which is currently composed of Juniors and SENIORS. Yes you heard me, WE HAVE NO SOPHOMORES THIS YEAR. I wonder how that would turn out. Hopefully we'll have a better theme this year also considering I didn't like last year's theme so much.
Hmm.. In General, I think I will survive Junior year. I may need to drink maybe a shot or two of espresso or very bitter tea every morning, but I'll pull through with a bit of encouragement along the way.
Or perhaps energy drinks are better..?
