Crazy Weather + College
For the past two days, San Jose is having FREAK HEAT WAVE. Not that it really matters with me since while most of my friends are off in college, I'm still at home for another three weeks or so before school starts. I should take this time to RUB it in their faces. Or not. I haven't really been doing anything productive besides sleeping in till my mom calls and wake me up.. or else, I won't be up till my mom comes back. After that, I would proceed to spend the rest of my time on the internet.
Boring. I know.
On the OTHER HAND~ College is coming!! UC DAVIS, here I come. I'm really hoping the weather over there would simmer down because they've been having 90-100 degree weather about EVERY SINGLE DAY.
This also means, I need to start thinking of what to pack. Since the world hasn't developed something to AUTOMATICALLY transport everything in my room to my dorm, I have to select carefully. Considering, not all of the stuff in my room would fit in the dorm.
I'm going to miss my full sized bed.
Back to school shopping has been rather interesting this year. Instead of stocking up on the usual paper and pencils, I'm stocking up on junk food, furniture, and bedding along with various other simple things.
I think the change of environment would be good though. Although I have no idea how my parents would fare without me in the house. I get a feeling they'll argue a lot more. Or maybe not.
September 20th - The day to MOVE IN. School doesn't OFFICIALLY start until September 25th. So WHOO~ Days to explore the campus... and hope I don't get run over when I'm riding my bike.
