If this means what I think it means, I'm sorry to see that particular creative light and part of my friends soul depart this world. I am happy if it means his freedom to start over somewhere more accepting/encouraging of the beauty. Just .. *pets*

Val took his own life on Saturday night. He left a suicide note in an open post on his journal.. with the song "hurt".

Thank you, hon. I'm sorry that I didn't call you back.. I'm still reeling.
