This has been a crazy week. My brother called me Tuesday night to tell me that they have been looking for an after school babysitter and since they both work during the day. Apparently he was caught running away again by the police while his parents were at work. He said that they have hired three babysitters since them and he scared them all off so since they still needed a babysitter, I would be a great opportunity for me to get a job and we would still be able to hang out together. So Wednesday I called them and told them I seen their ad and wanted to give it a try. They told me his name was Jerry and they would be glad to give me a try on Thursday. So Tourniquet dropped me off and told me he would take us out to get something to eat at five. When I went in, his mother called him down and gave me some money for food and a paper with phone numbers and told me that his father would be back at seven. She then told warned me that he was pure trouble and that he chased off some other people who were interested in the job. I told her not to worry about me, that I could handle him because my brother always acts like that. He broke out laughing and of course she didn't get the true meaning of what I said and thought that he was going to act worse because I said I could handle him. She yelled at him and told me if I couldn't handle him to call her or his father. She gave him a kiss and left. When she left I laughed at him and said OK Jerry what do you wan to do? He pounced on me and growled don't ever call me that unless those people are here, I hate that name. After a brief wrestling match, I laughed and pinned him knowing he hates to lose. He finally quit trying to pin me and we decided to talk. So we continued to talked until Tourniquet got there. We met up with the rest of the group for dinner then headed back to his house about six thirty. We watched TV and talked some more until his father came home. He was surprised when Jerry ran to him and told him he had a lot of fun and asked if they could keep me. So anyways they agreed to keep me and I am getting eight dollars an hour and get to see my brother just about every day. Life is finally working for me.
