in memorandum of a friendship

Her smile, devestating and beautiful, cuts all darkness in half to reveal that nothing is how it seems. Friendships, no matter how much you want may never become anything more that haphazard lies and fish hooks for hearts. Dreams only come to those who sleep and insomnia comes to those who's dreams were real and hurt too much to see again. Beautiful smiles cover lying faces as they scurry away from lonely hearts. Fleeting glaces from the boy in the shadows remindes all who gaze upon it that they have lost. Sypathy gains all attention, and with tears in his eyes, the loser gives up... just as our fathers always said. So when dreams get too painful, and sleep never comes, look for something to grab on to, so you can say you tried. i mean who wants that kind of attention anyways, suffering is always done in the shadows of her smile

How i wish i could speak my feelings, but i know every jagged word would slice your heartstrings and stab at your heart. I could not live after staining your soul that awful shade of scarlet

===================================================================
what drives a man to sleepless nights?
what can cause dreams to frighten so much?
why is a face that i see so little
stuck in my mind?

isnt there just a pill to take for this?
