I'm ready for the semester to be over.

England in a little more than two weeks. Very strange.

Finland during spring sometime.

I've decided to take a semester off from school. I'm tired of the whole lecture learning crap. I'm gonna go back next year, but for now I need a breather. Which works fine for my bank account as well, cause I've picked up a second job to earn more mula for Ian and I to get a place in either San Clemente or Mission Viejo. We have 1,500 saved up so far and it'll increase with my income after I get back in January. I got promoted at my old job and am now in charge of everyone practically which is funny. And I'm going to be a receptionist for a wedding planner. I'm excited. It pays very well.

Oregon during the summer, maybe. If Ian and I can get the time off. Hopefully we'll be able to.

I really like the band Augustana. I don't really know what to categorize them as because some of their songs have the twang of country but other times it's poppy/rock. Not really sure.

I finished all my Christmas shopping, and wrapped all the presents. I'm ahead of the game this year. Which is pretty nice. All Ian and I need to do still is go buy a Christmas tree and decorate it. We're getting it this weekend. I'm really excited.

And next semester I'm going to be writing a script for a friend's mini-series. I'm pretty stoked. An extra three hundred bucks a week will be nice.

I ran into a tourist the other day while I was in San Clemente with a friend and the tourist accused me of not being a Californian. I looked at her, in her ugly hawaiian shirt, wannabe rocker jeans, and the most hideous fucking boots I have ever seen in my life, and I lawyered her. Apparently she was from New Jersey for vacation. Now here's the thing, I can for the most part ignore my utter hatred of tourists, but why would someone be so stupid as to try and act like a real California person when they're not? And then accuse someone who has lived in California her entire life that she is not a California child? It just makes no sense to me. I never really thought of myself as a California purist because it's rude but honestly, I'm getting sick of hearing people say they want to move to California. This is my home and I don't want people who know NOTHING about this area to come and act like they're the best ever. It bugs the crap out of me. Especially the people who think Orange County is just like it is on "The O.C." The majority of the SoCal population is really not like that. Yes, we party and we party hard. But not everyone who lives here is a rich brat that's allowed to do everything. The middle class is the ruling class. If you want rich people go up to Irvine or Laguna Beach. Otherwise, it's a mix of economic groups and ughhhh.

In short, there's really only one or two people I would ever want to actually move to California that don't currently live in this state. However, I wish the people from the east coast who came over here were nicer. You can always tell who is from the east coast because they're mean, they complain, and they think that dressing like a surfer kid is okay if you're not actually a surfer in this area. Now, not all east coast people are bad like that. Just like not all California people are nice, but it bugs me. I don't know when or why it started but people acting like they know about SoCal, and the places in it, and really they have absolutely no idea angers me. Don't try and act like you know a place if you've never been there. It makes you look like an idiot.

This turned into a rant. I'm done.

As an ending bonus, I know how to make home made churros and funnel cake. And a sweet vegan coconut cake.
